Great, great stuff. Didn't you say once that (at least in the past) you didn't have any formal art training? You truly have talent. Your work has always impressed me in the years we've known each other.

Glad you like it :)
Yes, that's right i never had any formal training and also i never studied anything, all self teached. It is just that i started to have the idea that i want to go into the area of 'concept drawing' and 'digital painting' a few months ago so i just started to train myself. With each of the last 6-7 pictures i was training a different aspect, sometimes light/shadow rendering, sometimes composition, sometimes values and colors and so on. I still have a long way in front, but i also traveled some distance already :)

It's amazing how effortless you make it seem, despite not having done any training. I wish I had even 1/10th of that talent. It's funny, because supposedly my mother's great uncle was Max Beckmann, a somewhat famous painter from Germany. Guess I didn't inherit any of that talent.  :p

Who knows... it is mostly just a question of how many time do someone invest in developing his skills. If you have different priorities then i think it is more that you're talent might be 'sleeping' right now... it is up to you to wake it up or not :)

Well, regardless of how well I do in the future, I have to say that right now you developed an absolutely impressive array of art skills all on your own. :) You're doing professional level work.
